Sammy – Winter Dog Photography

This is Sammy’s winter dog photography session! Sammy is a beautiful shepherd-cross who at the time of her session was being fostered by Jenny and Jamie in their tiny downtown apartment in Edmonton. Realizing the limitations of their space and knowing that Sammy needed room to run, Jenny and Jamie made the heartbreaking decision to have their foster-dog (who was very much a part of their family) be adopted by Jenny’s family in BC.

While Sammy wasn’t going to be too far away, Jenny and Jamie wanted to spend their last few weeks with Sammy doing something special and this included a very special doggy photo shoot at the Alberta Legislature Building.
